Ok, now that I have your attention......!!
Yesterday I found a great workout to help me with my strength and cardio at the same time! Have you ever seen the TV show Spartacus? Well this is supposedly the workout that he (Spartacus - see picture above) does just 3 times a week in his busy schedule to stay in shape!
So I thought I'd give it a go! Not that I want to look quite like a roman gladiator, but toned, defined muscles would be good!
Anyway, this workout is a circuit with dumbells. I tried it last night, and boy was it good. I didn't get all of it done (had to stop to tend to my poor sick daughter) but I can certainly feel my muscles aching today in all the right places!!
So there's something new to add to my exercise regime for a while - the 3 times a week Spartacus workout!
I also started on our advent calendar sewing project with my youngest daughter yesterday. We'll finish that off today and I'll post some pictures tomorrow!
